Attached is the revised planting for the south area of the site. We have:
1) Kept the total number of shrubs — 21 and placed them all within one lineal bed next to
the trail. The bed will havemulch consistent with the rest of the site.
2) Plant species (see approved native plant list). FIG — Rhus. We are concerned about the
puckering on these now they are no longer in a native area. We have used
RA and SE to provide variety. As we now have the RG plants on site we plan to
plant these in the detention area south of the trail.

Attached is the revised planting plan, which Ted Shepard has approved.
Ted requested:
1) The landscape contractor ensure that the shrubs in the bed adjacent to the trail
are planted sufficiently away from the edge of sidewalk so they do not grow
over the walk when mature. We recommend a minimum of 3 fL
2) Wood bark be used and not rock as this would blend more with the
character of the Spring Creek Trail. Please call and discuss with Ted if
necessary at 221-6750,
