Dear Resident:
On Tuesday, October 29, 2002, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the First Baptist
Church gymnasium, 901 East Lake Street, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524, the City
of Fort Collins will hold a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a
development proposal in your neighborhood. The project is known as The Lofts
at Park Central.
As proposed, the project consists of 34 multi -family dwelling units on 4.52 acres.
Each unit would have two parking spaces per unit on the ground level and two
living stories above. There would be additional surface parking as well.
The project is located on the south side of East Prospect Road between the Park
Central retail center and the Fort Collins Club. Joint access is planned to
connect all three parcels. In addition, there would be some parking
reconfiguration for the Fort Collins Club and a slight shifting of the Spring Creek
Trail to the south.
This will be the second neighborhood information on this project. The first was
held on July 23, 2002. Because of low attendance at this first meeting, this
second meeting is offered to provide additional opportunity for citizen input.
Minutes to the first meeting are available either hard copy or via e-mail. To
request an e-mail version, please send an electronic message to
tshepard@fcgov.com.
The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official
records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between
occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected
property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor
of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
