[11/8/04] Per Section 3.8.13(B) of the LUC regarding co -location:
I don't believe the applicant has adequately documented their attempts to co -locate with
Sprint. Documentation should include correspondence from Sprint explaining why they are
proposing to charge a monthly rent that is 3 times the going rate. If indeed Sprint is going to
charge that much, then Sprint needs to explain why they aren't in violation of 3.8.13(B),
since it would appear that they may be trying to exclude Nextel from using the same
location.

[11/8/04] The 55' tall tree must be setback 55' from lot lines per Sec. 3.8.13(C)(1), or be
constructed so that it collapses instead of topples. Site plan doesn't show setbacks, and
narrative doesn't state if the poles is designed to topple.

[11/16/04] This project must comply with both Section 3.8.13 (C)(2) and Section 3.4.1(I)(1)
of the LUC.
(2) Wireless Telecommunication Facilities. Whether manned or unmanned, wireless
telecommunication facilities shall be consistent with the architectural style of the surrounding
architectural environment (planned or existing) considering exterior materials, roof form,
scale, mass, color, texture and character. Such facilities shall also be compatible with the
surrounding natural environment considering land forms, topography, and other natural
features. If such facility is an accessory use to an existing use, the facility shall be
constructed out of materials that are equal to or better than the materials of the principal
use.
(1) Design and Aesthetics.
(1) Project design. Projects in the vicinity of large natural habitats and/or natural habitat
corridors, including, but not limited to, the Poudre River Corridor and the Spring Creek
Corridor, shall be designed to complement the visual context of the natural habitat.
Techniques such as architectural design, site design, the use of native landscaping and
choice of colors and building materials shall be utilized in such manner that scenic views
