He wanted me to share with you what I told him. Evidently, they're proposing taking the existing large lot and subdividing it into 4 individual lots. He'll be doing (or is currently doing) a Type 1 subdivision plat to create the new lots. Once the plat is approved and recorded, then the permits for the 4 new houses are done simply as a building permit with no further review by any other departments other than the normal buidiing permit sign off in the computer for new homes. With the subdivision plat, I assume there'll be a development agreement and the other usual stuff, and that the alley improvements will be addressed in those documents prior to the plat being recorded.
