RE: Kinard Junior High Annexation
Dear Council Members:
Attached please find the Petition for Annexation package for the Kinard Junior High
School site. The site is located at 3002 E. Trilby Rd. and is bordered on two sides by the.
City of Fort Collins.
The site is situated at the corner of Zeigler and Trilby Roads. The lot was created under
the Larimer County Minor Land Division process, and recently recorded. Road and
utility development was undertaken during the construction of the school via a joint
project between the City and School District.
Rather than utilizing Larimer Counties process for plan review, the District chose to go
through the Cities process with approval by the Planning & Zoning Board. At that time,
it was determined that this site and use is consistent with the City Structure Plan.
Please accept this Petition for Annexation on behalf of the Poudre School District.
