Dear Resident or Property Owner:
On Monday, August 14, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., at the Harmony Library, 4626 S.
Shields, Fort Collins, Colorado, the Current Planning Department of the City of Fort
Collins will conduct a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development
proposal in your neighborhood. The project is referred to as Harmony and Shields
Revised Rezoning, #1-06A.
This is a request to rezone a portion (approximately 18 acres) of a 58 acre parcel, from
Medium Density Mixed Use Neighborhood (MMN) to Neighborhood Center (NC), located
at the northwest corner of Harmony and Shields. The proposed change relocates the
Neighborhood Center planned for this site, from its approved original location between
Troutman Parkway and Wake Robin Lane to a point approximately 500 feet to the south.

The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from
official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home
occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property
owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending
meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend
this meeting, written comments are welcome.
