Storm Drainage Engineer
City Engineer's Office
Post Office Box 580
Fort Collins, Colorado 80522
Dear Mr. Smith:
The purpose of this letter is to request a waiver of storm drainage
detention requirements for the Silver Spruce Inn, P.U.D., located at
1220 South College Avenue. The 14,000 square foot site presently
contains a two story structure, gravel and asphalt parking areas, and
some landscaping. The proposed P.U.D. would in general maintain the
present site configuration with some slight reduction in impervious areas.
Based on no overall change in storm drainage conditions incidental to
the P.U.D., a waiver of storm drainage detention requirements is hereby
requested.
Sincerely,
Guy . McCabe, P.E.

Dear Mr. McCabe:
Fort ColL,s, Colorado 80522
N3J 484-4220 Ext. 728
Regarding your request for a variance in the detention requirements
for the Silver Spruce Inn, P.U.D. located at 1220 South College Avenue
I have the following cannents.
Because the site already contains a two-story structurewith gravel
and asphalt parking areas the existing runoff produced by the site
will not be increased by the proposed project and in fact, may be
slightly reduced because of additional landscaping.
Your request for a variance in the detention requirements is hereby
approved provided the following condition be met:
Final grading of the site shall be done in such a manner so as not
to create any point discharges that may cause erosion.
Sincerely,
