ORDINANCE No. 37 , 1959,
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE PLAT OF WHAT IS INOWN AS
THE FIRST EAST PROSPECT STREET ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
vF PORT COLLINS, COLORADO, AND AUTHORIZING THE ANNEXATION
OF ALL THE TERRITORY EMBRACED IN SAID PLAT TO THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS AND TO BE INCLUDED WITHIN THE LIMITS AND
JURISDICTION THEREOF, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY CONTAINED
IN ARTICLE 11, CHAPTER 139, COLORADO REVISED STATUTES. 1"3.
WHEREAS, heretofore a written petition was presented to the Council
of the City of Fort Collins in substantial compliance with the provisions of
Article 11, Chapter 139, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1953, by the sole owners
of the area of land embraced in what is known as the First East Prospect
street Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, wherein and whereby said
p�titioners petitioned the City of Fort Collins for the annexation of all the
territory embraced in what is known as the First East Prospect Street Annexation
to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, comprising the lands shown in the plat
thereof attached to said petition and more particularly described as hereinafter
set forth, and
WHEREAS, said petition was accepted by the Council of tba City of
Fort Collins by resolution passed and adopted on the 22nd day of October. 1959,
and
WNER.EAS, notice for hearing on the 10th day of December, 1959, on an
ordinance approving the annexation of said territory and including the game
within the limits and jurisdiction of the City of Fort Collins as a part of
the "B" Residence District was duly published as provided by law. and
W111KRUS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has found that the
petition and the documents thereto attached meet the requirements of Article 11,
Chapter 139, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1953, and
14JERRAS, no proceedinSe for on election to determine the question of
ancsesation have been initiated by written counter -petition as provided by law
and no objection to annexation having been made,
HE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS,
Section 1, That after due consideration of the petition for annexation,
the petition for the annexation of all the territory in what is known and
described as First East Prospect Street Annexation to the City of Fort Collings
Colorado, as shown by the platthersof annexed to said petition and which is
noro particularly described as follows, to -wits

thereof in the office of the Clerk and Recorder of the County of Latimer and
