X& MAS, haretofore a written petition, together with four prints of
an an.r;xation map, was filed with the "Zy Clerk of the City of Fort Collins
requesting the annexation of certain territory more particularly described
below to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, and
WEVEAS, the City Council has found and determined and does hereby
find and determine that said petition is in substantial compliance with the
provisions of Colorado I Revised Statutes, 1963, s 137-21-6, as amended, and
W;{itREAS, the Owners of one hundred per cent of the property to be
annexed have petitioned for said annexation, and
WHEREAS, not less than one -sixth of the perimeter of,the area to be
anexod is contiguous with the City of Fort Collins and a community of interest
t exiss between the territory to be annexed and the City of Fort Collins and the
territory to be annexed is urban or will be urbanized in the near future and
such territoryis integrated or is capable of being integrated with the City
of Fort Collins, and
WMEREAS, none of the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963,
139-21-4, as amended, are violated by the annexation of this territory to
the City of Fort Collins, and
WMEAS, no election is required under the provision of Colorado
Revised Statutes, & Q , 5 139-21-6 (2) and no additional terms and conditions
are to be imposed in connection with this annexation, and
WEEREA.S, the territory is eligible for annexation and the City Council
desires to annex the same to the City of Port Collins.
COLLINS:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
Section 1. That all of the territory more particularly described as
situate in the County of Latimer, State of Colorado, to -wit:
Beginning at the West c corner of Section 15,
Township 7 North Range 69 West of the 6th P.M.,
thence North 00°32' West 113.80 feet to the true
point of beginning, thence South 89054'23" East
840 feet thence North 00°32' West 47 feet, thence
South 89°54' East 489.25 feet, thence North 00°29'
West 169.20 feet, thence North 89°54'23" West
1330.05 feet, thence South 00°32' East 216.20 feet
to the true point of beginning.
be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said
City, to be known as the South Taft Hill Fifth
Annexation to the: City of Port Collins.
Secti�,❑ 2. That in. annexing said territory to the City of Fort
Collins, the City of Fort Collins does not assumeam, obligation respecting the
construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service lines,
streets or any ocher services or utilities in connection with the territory
hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the City of Fort
Collins.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this LO°" day of November, A.D., 1966, and to be presented for
final passage on the 1st day of December, A.D., 1966.

Collins, Colorado, do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance is a true and
correct copy of Oridnanee No. 72, 1966 annexing property to be known as the South
Taft Hill Fifth Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed and adopted
on final reading on the let day of December, A. D. 1966,
