ORDINANCE NO. 30, 1967,
BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS. COLORADO
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to annex the property more
particularly described below, and
WHEREAS, a resolution setting forth the intent of the City Council
to annex said area has heretofore been adopted, and
WHEREAS, after notice and hearing as provided for in Sections 139-
21-7 and 139-21-8, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, as amended, the City
Council has entered its findings and determinations that the proposed annexation
complies with the provisions of Section 139-21-4, Colorado Revised Statutes,
1963, as amended.
COLLINS:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
Section 1. That all of the territory more particularly described as
situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to -wit:
Beginning at the NE corner of Section 24, Township 7 North,
Range 69 West of the 6th P. M.; thence Southerly along the
Fast line of the NE quarter of Section 24 140.00 feet to the
SE corner of Schrader's First Annexation, which is the point
of beginning; thence Westerly along the South line of Schrader's
First Annexation 118.63 feet to the SW corner of said annexa-
tion; thence Northerly along the West line of said annexation
140.00 feet to a point on the South line of the Second College
Addition; thence Westerly along the North line the NE quarter
of Section 24, which is the South line of the Second College
Addition, 935.40 feet, more or less, to the NE corner of the
East Acres Second Annexation; thence Southerly along the East
line of said annexation 495.00 feet to the SE corner; thence
Westerly along the South line of said annexation 264.00 feet
to the SW corner; thence Northerly along the West line of said
annexation 272.00 feet to the SW corner of the Second East
Prospect Annexation; thence Northerly along the West line of
said annexation 223.0 feet to a point on the South line of
the Second College Addition; thence Westerly along the North
line of the NE quarter of Section 24, which is the South line
of the Second College Addition, 285.00 feet, more or less,
to the NE corner of the First East Prospect Annexation;
thence Southerly along the East line of said annexation
660.00 feet, more or less, to the SE corner of said annexa-
tion; thence Westerly along the South line of said annexation
538.79 feet, more or less, to the SW corner of said annexation;
thence Northerly along the West line of said annexation 660.31
feet, more or less, to a point on the South line of the Second
College Addition; thence Westerly along the North line of the
NE quarter of Section 24, which is the South line of the
Second College Addition, 172.6 feet, more or less, to the East

line of the Southeast Consolidated Annexation; thence Southerly
along said line 660.39 feet, more or less, to a point on the
North line of the Edwin G. Brown Annexation; thence Easterly
along said line 9.36 feet, more or less, to the NE corner of
said annexation; thence Southerly along the East line of said
annexation 368.00 feet, more or less, to the NW corner of the
Kramer Second Annexation; thence along the North line of said
annexation: N. 77°37' E. 46.86 feet; N. 64031' E. 77.58 feet;
N. 72°24' E. 37.13 feet to the NE corner of said annexation;
thence Southerly along the East line of said annexation 196.84
feet to the NE corner of the Kramer Annexation; thence Southerly
along the East line of said annexation 150.00 feet to a point
on the South line of the NW quarter of the NE quarter of Section
24, which is the boundary of the Southeast Consolidated Annexation;
thence Easterly along said line 100.88 feet, more or less, to
the SW corner of the Stuart Street Second Annexation; thence
Northerly along the West line of said annexation 140.00 feet
to the NW corner; thence Easterly along the North line of said
annexation 80.00 feet to the NE corner; thence Southerly along
the East line of said annexation 140.00 feet to the South line
of the NW quarter of the NE quarter of Section 24, which is
the boundary of the Southeast Consolidated Annexation; thence
Easterly along said line 499.85 feet, more or less, to the SW
corner of the Stuart Street Annexation; thence Northerly along
the West line of said Annexation 155.0 feet to the NW corner;
thence Easterly along the North line of said annexation 160.0
feet to the NE corner; thence Southerly along the East line ,
of said annexation 155.0 feet to the North line of the South
half of the NE quarter of Section 24, which is the North line
of the Indian Hills Subdivision Annexation; thence Easterly
along said line 649.24 feet, more or less, to the SW corner of
the Eventide Annexation; thence Northerly along the West line
of said annexation 397.00 feet to the NW corner; thence
Easterly along the North line of said annexation 210.94 feet,
more or less, to the SW corner of East Acres First Annexation;
thence Northerly along the West line of said annexation 313.85
feet to the NW corner; thence along the North line of said
annexation: S. 89*47' W. 259.29 feet; S. 82*09' W. 200.11
feet to the NE corner of said annexation, which is a point
on the East line of the NE quarter of Section 24; thence
Northerly along said line 440.68 feet, more or less, to the
point of beginning. The reference for bearings is the South
line of the North half of the NE quarter of Section 24, which
bears S. 89*56' W.
-be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a Dart of said
City, to be known as the Spring Creek Second Annexation to the City of Fort
Collins.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort
Collins, the City of Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting
the construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service
lines, streets or any other services or utilities in connection with the
territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the
City of Fort Collins.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered

correct copy of Ordinance No. 30, 1967 annexing property known as the Spring Creek,
Second Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado which was passed and adopted
on final reading on the 27th day of July, A. D. 1967.
