ORDINANCE NO. 44, 1994
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ANNEXING PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE
SHERMAN-LAWLER SECOND ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, Resolution 94-22, finding substantial compliance and initiating
annexation proceedings, has heretofore been adopted by the Council of the City
of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the Council does hereby find and determine that it is in the best
interests of the City to annex said area to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1. That the following described property, to wit:
A TRACT OF LAND SITUATE IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 36,
TOWNSHIP 8 NORTH, RANGE 69 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M., LARIMER COUNTY,
COLORADO, WHICH CONSIDERING THE NORTH LINE OF SAID SOUTHWEST QUARTER
AS BEARING S89 58'08"W AND WITH ALL BEARINGS CONTAINED HEREIN
RELATIVE THERETO IS CONTAINED WITHIN THE BOUNDARY LINES WHICH BEGIN
AT THE CENTER QUARTER CORNER OF SAID SECTION 36 AND RUN THENCE S89
58'08"W 656.89 FEET AND AGAIN SOO 07' 52"E 482.60 FEET TO THE TRUE
POINT OF (BEGINNING; THENCE SOO 07' 52"E 816.27 FEET; THENCE N85
40'22"W 149.45 FEET; THENCE S89 45' 08"W 307.81 FEET; THENCE SO1 57'
52"E 54.02 FEET; THENCE S86 19' 06"W 201.54 FEET; THENCE N87 36'
23"W 2.63 FEET; THENCE NOO 02' 52"W 870.31 FEET; THENCE N89 45' 08"E
657.59 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
CONTAINING 12.4540 ACRES,
be, and hereby is, annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said
City, to be known as the Sherman -Lawler Second Annexation.
Section 2. That, in annexing said property to the City, the City does not
assume any obligation respecting the construction of water mains, sewer lines,
gas mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or utilities in
connection with the property hereby annexed except as may be provided by the
ordinances of the City.
Section 3. That the City hereby consents, pursuant to Section
37-45-136(3.6), C.R.S., to the inclusion of said property into the Municipal
Subdistrict, Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District.
