Mr. Don Real

Dear Mr. Real:
In regard to Stadium Heights Subdivision, I have talked to
John Stute about extending the six inch water line from Alvin
Killer's area to serve the first few lots of your area. We will
have to limit this to ten lots, before the 12 inch line in
Overland Trail is extended, because we already have pressure
problems in the Foothills West development.
Sincerely,
Roy A. Bingman

Dear Air. Stover:

In regard to the Stadium Heights Subdivision adjacent to Overland
Trail, the Utility Plan for this development indicates the installation
of a four foot wide sidewalk along Overland Trail. Phis sidewalk should
be installed as the curb and gutter is constructed to complete the
improvements on Overland Trail.
About four or five years ago the City was not requiring sidewalk on
arterial streets. This policy was changed within the last three years to
require sidewalks. Alvin Miller's development north of Stadium Heights was
the last development to go in without .calks. Since that time, every other
development in the City aas been required to install walks on arterial
streets, including Mr. Miller's now area on the west side of Overland
Trail.
In those areas where walks were not installed, it will be necessary
for the City to require the present owners to install the walks at their
expense. This is the reason there are no walks in Alvin Miller's area.
We are requesting that ,you proceed with the installation of sidewalk as
indicated ca the approved Utility Plan.
This is the background for the apparent discrepancy between Stadium
Heights and Mr. Miller's development. If you have a further question,
please call.

Dear Mr. Miller:
Regarding the following properties;
172Azalea
1733 Azalea
1730 Pal=:
I have viewed these properties and d_scussed the situation with Mr. Roblin
Of our office.
The situation as I see in is :Oa- the asphalt paving in the parking area
has been brought Onto the streat r_ t-of-l;ay and up to the back of the
sidewalk across the full width o! t..a property. I understand that you do plan
on installing parking blocks to ;relent driving in and out of the property
across the full width.
This type of construction nas no. been allowed for some time, and in fact
several properties in the sane area have been constructed properly, without
the asphalt up to the sidewalk. Sone or' these are:
1750 Pecan

In talking to RD! Roblin, ho ______ated that he had discussed the question
of installing concrete at the entrances, but that he didn't discuss
either keeping or removing the __Tai___r of the asphalt.

From the City standpoint, wa a_ requesting that the asphalt be removed
from the street right-of-i,ay in ,e area that will not be used for driveway.
This is in keeping with other buildin;s already completed by you in the area.
This area can then be landscaped to ,roveide a real amenity to the property.
Sincerely,
Roy K, Bingman
