BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE VACATING 20 FEET OF SMITH STREET AND
20 FL,,;T OF STOVER STREET ADJOINING BLOCK 1743 IN THE CITY OF FORT

`„Ili3REAS, the plat of Block 174 in the City of Fort Collins,
riled on January 1S, 1$73, shows Smith and Stover Streets adjoining
said Block, 174 on the Nest and East respectively as 100 feet in width;
AND WHEREAS, the East 20 feet of Smith Street and the west
20 feet of Stover Street adjoining said Block are not and never have
been traveled portions of said Streets;
AND 'JII11.11EAS, the owners of all of said Block 174 have pe-
titioned the City Council to cause the vacation of the following des-
cribed portions of Smith and Stover Streets, to -wit:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Block 174, in the
City of Fort Collins, Colorado, according to Plat filed
January 18, 1873, running thence West 20 ft.; thence
South 400 ft.; thence East 20 feet to the Southeast
corner of said Block 174, and thence North along the
lest line of said Block 174 to place of beginning;
Also beginning at the Northeast corner of said Block 174,
thence East 20 feet; thence South 400 feet; thence
.:est 20 feet to the Southeast corner of said Block 174,

of beginning;
AIv*D 'V,!HEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it will
be to the best, interests of the City to vacate the portions of said
Smitl: S,areet and Stover Street as described above;

Section 1. That the portion of Smith Street adjoining
Block 174 in the City of Fort Collins, according to plat filed
