Dear George:
Staff has reviewed the Baystone Village, R-H site plan and has the following
comments:
I. It is staff's opinion that better access would be provided to the
site by opening up the west parking area and providing an additional
curb cut on Baystone Drive. This curb cut location will be acceptable
even though it does not line up with the curb cut across the street.
The maximum setback (suggest 40') from street flowline to the parking
should be maintained. Bike/pedestrian access from Columbine Avenue
into the site should be provided.
2. Pedestrian access to Baystone Drive and Blue Bell Avenue is to be
provided.
3. Please verify that 6% of the interior parking lot is to be landscaped.
4. All curb cuts are to be designed to City standard.
5. How will the end of Daisy Street be treated?
6. Storm drainage problems are to be resolved before consideration of the
project by the Planning and Zoning Board.
7. Work with Fire Department on the placement of fire hydrants.
A revised site plan, addressing the above comments, is to be submitted no later
than Monday, August 8, 1983. An 81" x 11" reduction of the site and landscape
plan and colored rendering are to be submitted by Monday, August 15, 1983.
