[4/25/06] 1 will send an e-mail to the utilities to verify they don't need the easement, but the
applicant should coordinate with Qwest regarding the existing telephone line. This should
be addressed prior to hearing. A letter of intent from the phone company and positive
confirmation that the easement is not needed by other utilities will be accepted in lieu of an
official variance request.
[3/7/06] Retaining walls cannot be located within a utility easement without the permission
of all utilities. An existing telephone line is shown directly under one of the walls. If
permitted, a detail should be included to show how this will work.
