STANDARD EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL CONSTRUCTION PLAN NOTES
1. The City of Fort Collins erosion control inspector must be notified at least twenty—four (24) hours prior to any construction on
this site.
2. There shall be no sorth—disturbing activities outside the limits designated on the accepted plans.
3. All required perimeter silt and construction fencing shall be installed prior to any land disturbing activity (stockpiling,
stripping, grading, etc). All other required erosion control measures shall be installed at the appropriate time in the
construction sequence as indicated in the approved project schedule, construction plans, and erosion control plan.
4. At all times during construction, the Contractor shall be responsible for preventing and controlling on —site erosion including

1. ALL CONSTRUCTION SHALL CONFORM TO THESE PLANS, THE SPECIFICATIONS WHICH ARE INCLUDED WITH THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS,
AND THE LATEST EDITIONS OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS CONSTRUCTION CRITERIA UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED ON THE DRAWINGS
AND SPECIFICATIONS.
2. ALL MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP SHALL BE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION BY THE OWNER. THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO
ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY SUCH MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP THAT DOES NOT CONFORM TO THE STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS
SET FORTH HEREIN.
3. IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY THE EXISTENCE AND LOCATION OF ALL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES
WITHIN THE WORK AREA AND COORDINATE CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULES WITH THESE UTILITY OWNERS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE

8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE A TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS FOR REVIEW PRIOR TO MOBILIZATION
AND SHALL OBTAIN ANY NECESSARY PERMITS AND TRAFFIC PLAN APPROVALS FROM THE CITY PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. THE
TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE CITY AT LEAST 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF ANY TRAFFIC
CONTROL PROCEDURES. THERE SHALL BE A $35 FEE FOR THE CITY REVIEW OF THE TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN. CITY REVIEW OF ANY
PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE APPROVED TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN WILL REQUIRE A MINIMUM 48 HOUR REVIEW PERIOD.
9. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT ALL EXISTING CURB, GUTTER, SIDEWALK, ASPHALT, AND LANDSCAPING EXCEPT AS SHOWN ON

STANDARD EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL CONSTRUCTION PLAN NOTES
1. The City of Fort Collins erosion control Inspector must be notified at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to any construction on
this site.
2. There shall be no earth -disturbing activities outside the limits designated on the accepted plans.
3. All required perimeter silt and construction fencing shall be installed prior to any land disturbing activity (stockpiling,
stripping, grading, etc). All other required erosion control measures shall be installed at the appropriate time in the
construction sequence as indicated In the approved project schedule, construction plans, and erosion control plan.
4. At all times during construction, the Contractor shall be responsible for preventing and controlling on -site erosion Including
keeping the property sufficiently watered so as to minimize wind blown sediment. The Contractor shall also be responsible
for installing and maintaining all erosion control facilities shown herein.
5. Pre -disturbance vegetation shall be protected and retained whenever possible. Removal or disturbance of existing vegetation
shall be limited to the area(s) required for immediate construction operations, and for the shortest practical period of time.
6. All soils exposed during land disturbing activity (stripping, grading, utility installations, stockpiling, filling, etc..) shall be kept
In the roughened condition by ripping or disking along land contours until mulch, vegetation, or other permanent erosion
