The method used to collect and divert street flows is unacceptable for an arterial street. Basil and 11 have discussed and provided a couple of alternatives acceptable to the city. Please see comments on the plans and contact Basil and/or myself if needed. We all desire this project to go to Mylars next. To accomplish this, please fax the street/stormwater changes to Basil and myself, or call to arrange a meeting to view and describe the changes. Please make sure to change all affected items and plans to eliminate further delays. Type 3 barricade needs to be on the property or provide an offsite easement. 2 Add labeling to call out the driveway detail. 3 Please show the existing and the designed grading for the offsite Horsetooth Road grading; also provide an offsite grading easement or copies of the ROW dedication. 4. According to the relationship of the existing and designed contours on the Grading Plan, you will need to provide offsite grading easements or change grading to keep all grading work onsite. 5. The minimum 12" strip of land adjacent to both sides of a sidewalk should have a maximum slope no greater than 2%. 6 Please provide a profile of the 15" ADS storm drainage piping. 7. Please provide a profile of the joint line in Horsetooth Road (line at existing and new pavement). & The few elevations on the Horsetooth profile do not correlate with flowline data provided on your cross -sections. Grade break at the Horsetooth Road tie-in (at East project end) is greater than 0.40%, please re -design. 10. Private Drive profile says flowline but data is from centerline, please correct. IL Please smooth out the slope transitions in the private drive with more grade breaks. 12. Cross -slope of the new pavement on Horsetooth Road should be greater than the existing cross -slope. 13. Use significant digits on the cross -slope design slopes (2.00% vs. 2%).
