July 21, 2009 Minor Amendment - detailed description of change and reason for the request: Project Name: Provincetowne Filing Three/ Affordable Parcel The roofs (a combination of flat roofs behind parapets and sloping roofs) have been modified as well as some of the building materials. Vinyl windows, masonry veneer, and fiber cement siding remain but in a more contemporary character. Window shades have been added for solar control. CARE Housing, Inc., the owners and developers of this affordable parcel, request these modifications in order to provide a more "contemporary look" while supporting a very high "green rating" for their building. These new buildings will all fit within the given building envelopes in a similar "townhouse" fashion with the accessible ranch units on the ends.
