Industry standards for our business require eight foot fencing for accreditation. We want to qualify for said accredtation. In addition to placing my facility in compliance with the American Boarding Kennel Association requirements, 8 foot chain link fencing increases animal safety should a loose dog attempt to get over the fence. We have had dogs successfully scale our six foot fencing in the past. This is a safety issue for our dog patients. With the development of the Mason Street Corridor bus lines, we feel the additional safety outweighs any other arguements. We placed the same fencing on the south and south west parts of our facility at the time of our recent expansion. This fencing has worked well, and we have received numerous accolades on it's appearance.
