TREE PROTECTION NOTES:
1. All protected existing tress shall be pruned to City of Fort
Collins Forestry standards.
2. Prior to construction, barriers shall be enacted around all
protected existing trees with such barriers to be of orange
fencing a min. of 4' height, secured with metal t-posts.
Thera shall be no storage or movement of equipment,
material, debrb, or fill within the fenced zons.
3. During the construction stage of development prevent
cleaning of equipment or material or the storage and
disposal of was material such as points, oils, solvents,
asphalt, concrete, motor all or other material harmful
to the life of a tree, within the dr line of any protected
tree.

4. No damaging attachment, wires, signs or permits may be
fastened to any protected tree.
5. Within the drip line of any protected existing tree, them
shall be no cut or fill over a 4" depth unless a qualified
arboriet or forester has evaluated and approved the
disturbance.
6. During the removal of existing trees adjacent to
protected tines, avoid cutting the roots of the protected
tree as much as possible.
7. During the removal process the protected trees shall not
be damaged in any way. Removed trees shall not be
allowed to fall into any protected tree. No broken branches,
trunk damage, or root damage shall occur. In the event a
protected tree is damaged the City Forester shall be
contacted and shall determine if any mitigation is required.
