MEMO
TO Ms. Sheri Wamhoff, City of Fort Collins Planner
FROM: Mr. Terry W. Farrill, Systems Engineer (
DATE: September 18, 1995, 1995
RE George T. Sanders P.U.D.
The Fort Collins - Loveland Water District and The South Fort Collins Sanitation District have reviewed
the above mentioned project and submit the following comments,
The general notes on sheet I of 6 are to be revised to indicate that all sanitary sewer and water line
construction shall conform to the most current construction specifications of the South Fort Collins
Sanitation District and the Fort Collins - Loveland Water District .
The fire hydrant relocation at the south end of Fossil Boulevard does not appear to have adequate
clearance from the proposed storm drainage. A detail of the horizontal and vertical clearances is to
be provided.
The proposed eight (8) inch water line valve on the north end of Fossil Boulevard is to be located
on the south side of the fire hydrant lead if the fire hydrant is to be used as a blow -off for a future
extension. Please be advised that the fire hydrant maybe taken out of service for an extended
period of time and may affect the fire protection in the area. Per previous comment, it is
recommended that a blow -off be installed.
The proposed encasement of the four (4) inch sanitary sewer service is to be profiled at all utility
crossings. The District requires a minimum two (2) foot clearance. The encasement detail is to be
specifically identified for the four (4) inch service line only.
The District sign -off block is to be on sheets except the property plat.
The Districts will require another review due to the nature and number of comments.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at 226-3104 if you have any questions or require additional
information.

Re: Memorandum of understanding . George T. Sanders P-U-D., overlot grading
Dear Ward,
This memo is intended to confirm our conversation on Wednesday, February 21, 1996 concerning
approval for overlot grading for lots I and 2 of the George T. Sanders P.U.D. located behind
Weberg Furniture on Fossil Boulevard in Fort Collins.
It is understood that a signed copy of the draft Development Agreement is on file, but final signed
copies have yet to be received by the city. Since no changes have been made fi-om the signed
draft agreement and the final agreement, approval has been given to allow overlot grading at the
site with the payment of the erosion control deposit.
The development of this site will be held accountable to this development agreement.
Sincerely,
Randy DeMario
