Dear Dennis:
This letter is to recap the punch list items obtained from our walk through
of Clarendon 2nd and Ashford Commons P.U.D.s' on Tuesday, June 28, 1988.
Ashford Commons:
Remove and replace approx. 30 feet of roll curb, gutter and walk between
driveway entrances off Ashford Lane.
Traffic and street name signs as required through City Traffic Department.
Clarendon Hills 2nd Filing:
Remove and replace approx.. 20 feet of rollover curb, gutter and walk on
Alexia Way.

Clean concrete and debris from storm sewer inlet at cul-de-sac on Fox Hills
Drive.
Clean debris and backfill storm sewer outlet structure off Clarendon Hills
Drive.
Install metal sidewalk and over -flow grate at above location.
Traffic and street name signs as required through City Traffic Department.
Any damage which has occurred on Clarendon Drive will be determined at a
later date after the City has reviewed the test data obtained from our
pavement management consultant.
Once these items have been corrected the City will begin its initial
acceptance for this development.

Application is hereby made by the undersigned for a permit for an encroachment
upon a public right-of-way as indicated below, subject to the provision that the
applicant agrees to abide by the provisions of Chapter 23, Section 81-85 of t"e
Code of the City of Fort Collins.

B. LOCATION OF ENCROACHMENT Under Hinsdale Drive and cul-de-sacs

C. TYPE OF ENCROACHMENT, OBSTRUCTION OR STRUCTURE A single 6 inch Polyvinyl -
Chloride (PVC) pipe conduit of schedule 200 at each crossing at
a depth of 2 feet below pavement grade
D. PURPOSE OF 'THE ENCROACHMENT To accomodate irrigation (sprinkler) lines
(21,2- inch or less) and controller wiring crossings.
E. SPECIAL CONDITIONS At the time of installation, the low end of the
conduit, or sleeve shall have a vertical 2 inch conduit filled
with pea gravel extending to the surface. The conduit crossing
shall extend from back of easement to 'rack of easement.
Permission is hereby .granted for the indicated encroachment upon a public right-
of-way. _

Re: Special conditions to encroachment permit number 1-89 for
Clarendon Hills Associates
Dear Mr. Nordic:
Encroachment permit number 1-89 has been approved by the City with the
following conditions:
1. Use class 200 / DR 14 polyvinyl chloride pipe, not schedule 200, as the
casing pipe under the street rights -of -way.
2. Backfill the pipe trench with non -shrink fill material. This fill will
act as bedding material as well as trench backfill and will extend from
top to bottom of the trench. (specifications are attached)
3. The responsibility for maintenance of this pipe, trench and street
wearing :surface rests solely with Clarendon Hills Associates who shall
hold the City harmless of any liability which should arise as a result
of this encroachment.
4. The Associates will comply within 3 working days, if the City requests
repairs to the system, pipe, trench or street surface.
5. Prior to making any repairs, changes or abandoning the system, which
are not -at the request of the City, all appropriate permits are to be
obtained.,

6. All location changes, deletions or additions are to be shown on an "as
constructed" drawing submitted to the City Engineers office after the system
has been :installed.
7. The City reserves the right to require the removal of this system from the
public rights -of -way at any time as outlined in Chapter 23 - 81 of the
Code of the City of Fort Collins.
8. A copy of the encroachment permit shall be recorded with the County Clerk
and Recorder.
