BOLTS We inspected the bolted connections of the column cap plates to the overhead beams for the following 5 stations: northbound Mulberry Street, southbound Mulberry Street, northbound Laurel'Street,'northbound Drake Road, and northbound Troutman Parkway. All of the bolts were in the snug -tight condition or greater with washers installed at the time of our inspection with the following 2 exceptions: we observed a 1/4-inch gap between the beam and the column cap plate at the west end of the top of the southeast column at the northbound Drake;Road station and a missing washer for the southeast bolt at the top of the column connection at the southeast corner of the northbound Troutman Parkway station. We also inspected the 3/4-inch diameter anchor bolts for the column base plates at the same five stations.
