Re: Change of Use; 328 Remington St.
To whom it may concern,
I have reason to believe that the above referenced address is undergoing a
change of occupancy and is in the process of being remodeled. This belief is
brought on by complaints from neighbors and I have seen a growing pile of
construction debris. No permits have been issued to this address by the City
Building Department for any change or remodels which is a violation of the
Uniform Building Code Section 301 (a). Because of my belief that a Code
violation exists, I posted a "Stop Work Order" on June 14, 1993 with directions
for you to contact the Building Department. As of this date, I have not been
contacted.
Therefore, under Section 202 (c) of the Uniform Building Code I am requesting
entry of the above referenced property. The purpose of which will be to
determine the existence of any violations to the Building Code, if any.
Please contact me so that an appointment can be made to perform an
inspection of the premises.
Please be advised that failure to respond to this letter will force me to assume
the worst case scenario and I will pursue all avenues available to me to assure
compliance with locally adopted Building Codes.
