Services Planning and Zoning City of Fort Collins February 25, 2008 Dear Resident or Property Owner: On Monday, March 10, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Redeemer Lutheran Church of Fort Collins, 7755 Greenstone Trail, Fort Collins, Colorado*, the Planning Department of the City of Fort Collins will conduct a neighborhood information meeting to discuss an annexation proposal in your neighborhood. The project is referred to as the Fossil Creek Reservoir Open Space Annexation. This is a proposal for a voluntary annexation of approximately 330 acres of property within the Fossil Creek Reservoir Regional Open Space area. The property is jointly owned by the City of Fort Collins and Larimer County and is located south of Fossil Creek Reservoir, north of Carpenter Road (East County Road 32), and west of Interstate 25 (see map on reverse). Per the Colorado Revised Statues, the property has the minimum one -sixth perimeter of contiguous boundary with the annexing municipality by means of property north of the reservoir. Continuity is not affected by bodies of water. The proposed zoning of the property upon annexation is POL — Public Open Lands. No development is associated with this annexation proposal. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
