In response to your request, Martin/Martin, Inc., as Structural Engineers -of -Record for the referenced
project, state as follows:
1. Scope of work was to design and detail a concrete foundation pad for a generator addition at the new
fabrication plant on Avago's campus in Fort Collins at the above noted address. The building is located
on the West side of Avago's existing building 4 west annex.
2. To the best of our professional knowledge, belief and opinion, the design of all structural features of the
project is in accordance with applicable building codes and ordinances to the extent that they apply to
our portion of the work.
3. Our periodic site observations were augmented by the special inspections and testing services
completed by CTL Thompson, Inc. whose job summary letter follows this letter. To the best of our
professional knowledge, belief and opinion, and based on the attached inspection reports we believe
that the structural work currently in place is in substantial conformance with the Contract Documents,
and meets the structural requirements of applicable codes and regulations of agencies having
jurisdiction.
