Hello,
My group requested that I contact you regarding the easements and possible sidewalks connecting the development
with the existing neighborhood.
After discussion with the neighbors on Peyton, we are hoping the city will request from the developer to connect the
two neighborhoods with concrete walkways. The goal of this is for connectivity and consistency. We hope for it to
appear as if they are not two separate neighborhoods, but one. We also would like for the city to keep in mind how the
future developments in this area will all connect together with its walkways and paths.
Secondly, we would prefer for the paths to be concrete to promote bike traffic. We are a very bike friendly
neighborhood already, and we would like to continue this for our new neighbors. The kids would enjoy having more
paths on which to bike.
Lastly, we would like for the path between lots 185 and 186 to have solar lights placed alongside of it. This was going to
be done by the developer five years ago who submitted plans, and we would like to see that happen for this too. This is
to encourage visibility and prevent any crime to the adjacent homes.
Thank you as always for allowing us to be part of this process. Please let us know if there is anything you need from us as
we move forward.
