Subject: New notes have been added to case #15770
The application process for The Grove development is currently in a holding pattern while
the applicant revises plans in response to City staff comments on its most recent
submittal. In a best case scenario, taking into account all of the necessary steps in the
development review process, construction could be underway in July. Therefore, it does
not appear to be feasible that The Grove in Fort Collins project could be open in Fall
2011. However, the City does not regulate any aspect of a land use application or
applicant other than the criteria established in the City&E'"s Land Use Code, so it has no
role in monitoring web site claims by Campus Crest or SEC compliance.
