Dear Neighbors and Citizens,
I would like to inform you of the Planning & Zoning Board public hearing date for consideration of both The Grove
at Fort Collins Project Development Plan - #16-10B and the Amended CSURF Centre for Advanced
Technology Overall Development Plan - #MJA 110001. They both will go to the Board on June 16, 2011 for
consideration and decisions, not on May 19th as once thought. Each item will be discussed separately by the
Board and there will be a break in the meeting between the discussions.

The reason for the postponement is to give the developer for The Grove at Fort Collins the opportunity to hold a
"follow-up" neighborhood meeting Monday night, May 23ro, for the purpose of presenting revised plans for the
Grove at Fort Collins (see attached letter of notification that will go out to the residents today or next Monday).
Since the last neighborhood meeting held on December 7, 2010 the project has continued to evolve as a result of
Campus Crest's work with the Institute for the Built Environment. This meeting will focus on sustainable building
practices incorporated into the project and the changes to the architectural facades.
This is in response to a concern expressed by several residents about the open house held on April 27th not being
an acceptable substitute for a "valid" neighborhood meeting facilitated by the City. City staff and the developers
have mutually agreed to hold this "follow-up" meeting even thought the neighborhood meeting requirement set
forth in Section 2.2.2 of the Land Use Code has been met for The Grove at Fort Collins, Project Development
Plan.
