Ref.: Request for variance of the Fort Collins Green Code Door Blower Test for said project.

Dear Mr. Hovland:
It is my understanding that a conversation between yourself and Robert Davis took place
surrounding the door blower test requirement for the 639 S. College Ave Bohemian Music
District project. It is also my understanding the both of you talked through the age of the existing
facilities, use, and size of the addition that is planned for the project and that it seems to be
difficult to have this type facility meet the door blower requirements. That being said, on behalf
of the Bohemian Companies, DavisDavis Architects, and The Neenan Company, the project team
would like to request a variance in the form of an exemption to the requirement of a door blower
test for the addition and existing building of this project.
Please reply back to this letter with the City of Fort Collins official comment of the request for variance.
