Hi Chris,
Staff has responded to the last submittal (informal, electronic) that you made and has the following
comments:
Sheri - Engineering:
+The vicinity map does not appear to have changed. Please replace with a vicinity map that will scan well.
Me - Planning:
+Please shift the site plan over on page Z1 to include the NW corner of the property. Continue to show
the edge of King Soopers as well. Reduce the size of the planting detail a bit (retaining legibility of page at
2406) if needed to fit all on page.
+Add neighboring property lines for residences and housing authority to west.
+As you know, the owner of the shopping center property was recently issued a zoning violation for failing
to plant trees approved with a King Soopers addition in 1997. Some of those trees overlap trees or are
redundant with trees that you are required to plant with this project. You, a representative of the property
owner and I need to meet very soon to coordinate a unified landscape plan. Please plan to bring a full-
sized paper planset to that meeting with the above changes. (It has been very hard to scale distances on
the 11 x1 7 reduced set!)
+To avoid a monoculture and to provide visual variety, please replace some of the austrian pines with
some 10-foot-tall ponderosas north of the Clark residence (the Clarks want all Austrian pines). We can
and will discuss this in greater detail in our meeting with the King Sooper's representative.
