Dear Mr. McCullough:
On 9 February 1970, personnel of the Bui�lAiag-1 spection Division in-
spected the premises at 916 (or 916 1/2) Wes; -L-ake Si et which were damaged
by fire on January 29, 1970. Our record how that you re the owner. The
purpose of this letter is to inform yo�/ofiyour entitlements insofar as re-
habilitation is concerned. First, under/the�building code and because the
damage exceeds 50% of the value, the<entire sAructure will be required to
be brought to the same standards 9s_appl.y td new buildings. The reference
for the requirement is Section b�; Uniform Building Code 1958 Edition.
In respect to zoning requ�ents ection 22.5, Ordinance 46, 1965
applies. Briefly, this Section �ermi 5 estoration of a fire damaged build-
ing in its original loc 'ion if\Wrrc commenced within six (6) months, and

completed within eightn (18) lrwnt s after the calamity.
If you decide no o attem t rehabilitation, the structure must be re-
moved to prevent its t4carin4 attractive nuisance. Please contact me if
