Dear Ms. Mantis,
Tolmar's proposed use of the building at 932 W. Drake for the purpose of office and
warehouse use is a permitted use in the zone in which the building is located. Based on
the information provided to me by Rhys Christensen, stating that the building will be
approximately 10% office and 90% warehouse, the principal use will be classified as
warehouse, with an accessory use of office.
Even though the use is allowed and the change of use will not require any site
upgrades, it is still necessary to document the change of use of this building from retail
to warehouse/office. To do so, you will need to submit a minor amendment application
to amend the Market Centre PUD. The application form can be found online at
http://www.fcgov.com/currentplanning/pdf/minor-amend.pdf
The minor amendment process is a non-public hearing process that will take
approximately 2 weeks. The fee and submittal requirements are listed on the
application form.
