Gentlemen
As requested I have reviewed the existing wood framed mezzanine over the cigar humidor
located at the referenced site.
The mezzanine is constructed of 2x6 floor joists at 16" on center with a maximum span of 6'-9".
The joists are supported on a 2x6 ledger at the north wall attached to the masonry wall with %
diameter expansion anchors at 16" on center. The floor joists rest on a 2x4 bearing wall and a
2-2x6 beam at the east side of the mezzanine.
Based on my review it is my opinion the mezzanine floor as constructed is adequate for office
loading of 50 psf live load.
