This unit was rated from plans with rater issuing memo stating it would comply on 21 July 2003,
providing it was built to plans and specifications provided rater, and provided the materials were
installed correctly. It is an end unit, a ranch style unit, the south end of a four unit east facing
building. Dusty Sage Loop is a cul-de-sac off Dusty Stage Drive.
The slope of the land allows for a walk -out basement. Basement is full frame at rear elevation,
partial/stepped on left side. Subject has Lennox Elite series closed combustion furnace, model
and Rheem 50-gallon water heater, model 21 V50-4. Windows were Low-E except for the below
grade windows installed by the foundation contractor. Above grade basement windows are Low-
E (all but two). Basement is unfinished but has some framing. Garage is drywall, taped, and has
a window and is insulated with six inches of blown cellulose in the ceiling. Residence has
cellulose ceiling insulation also, also accessed from garage attic access.
This unit is substantially built to the plans and specifications and meets the Fort Collins' Energy
Code. Please do not withhold issuance of the certificate of occupancy (CO) for non-compliance
with the Energy Code. C)
