Per the applicants comments this basement is currently finished, however the city records show
this to be an unfinished basement. Therefore to obtain the egress window install permit one of
the following conditions must be met (check one and sign):
�I understand the city records consider this not to be habitable space and a building permit
must be obtained to bring the basement into compliance with city codes. I request this
window .permit be approved and a separate permit for the basement finish will be
obtained independently of this window permit.
❑ 1 give permission for the above licensed contractor to submit the additional plans needed
and obtain a basement finish permit, including the install of new egress windows.
