HomeMy WebLinkAbout3230 SHALLOW POND DR - SPECIAL INSPECTIONS - 11/26/2003RECE)VED DEC 1 5 M SCOTT, COX & ASSOCIATES, INC. consulting engineers November 26, 2003 Abbco 3324 Shallow Pond Drive Fort Collins, Colorado 80528 Project No: 1526-25-26-08 Gentlemen: On November 17, 2003, a representative of Scott, Cox & Associates, Inc. visually observed the perimeter drain system and damp -proofing for the new residence under construction at Lot 6, Block 2, Fossil Lake Ranch 1 st, (3230 Shallow Pond Drive), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. We observed that the completed drain system consisted of perforated corrugated flexible polyethylene pipe surrounded by gravel, overlying a plastic liner, set outside of the foundation walls. The drain appeared to be located below the footing level and is to discharge to an interior sump pit. We observed that the damp -proofing consisted of asphaltic spray -on coating. It appeared that the damp -proofing coating adequately covered the foundation wall. As a result of our observations, it is our opinion that the drainage and damp -proofing were in general conformance with the plans and specifications.
