Gentlemen:
It is our understanding that an approximately two (2) inch diameter
hole has been cut in the double sixteen (16) inch microlam beam
over the garage at the above referenced residence. Having
calculated the loads presented by this condition, we believe that
this should not affect the structural integrity of this beam.
