Elizabeth Fort Collins, CO 80524 Dear Mr. Gebo, I am in receipt of your letter dated 3 October 2002 in which you clarify your positions with regard to the requirements identified in your letter summarizing the results of the Non -Owner Occupied Housing inspection at 414 E. Elizabeth. I am also in receipt of your 11 October 2002 letter in which the date of my appeal before the Building Review Board is corrected to 31 October at 1 pm. It is my understanding that (i) the refrigerator must be provided with a grounded circuit, which may be a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI), (ii) with respect to the receptacle in the N/W bedroom, I must either replace non -grounded 3- pronged receptacles with GFCI receptacles, provide them with a ground, or replace them with non -grounded receptacles and (iii) a licensed electrician must test these receptacles and verify that there are no ungrounded 3-pronged outlets in the house. I ask that you please let me know by telephone, email, or post if my understanding is correct and complete. If so, I will waive my appeal before the Building Review Board and I ask that I be given 30 days to comply with items (i) through (iii) above. However, if my compliance with the above -mentioned items will not satisfy your concerns, I will appear before the Building Review Board on October 31. Sincerely, Aaron L.
