In,a continuing effort to insure that all construction within the
City of Fort Collins meets recognized minimum standards through required
periodic inspections, we are reviewing all building permits for which no
final inspection has been entered on our corresponding inspection record.
As a contractor, you should be aware.of the limitations of Permit
# 65378 issued to you on 7/20/79 for the above address. The City Build- -
ing Code specifies that "if the work authorized is not commenced within
180 days from the date of such permit or the work authorized is suspended
or abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180
days, the permit shall expire and become void."
To provide you with the opportunity to complete the work authorized
under the above permit, you will be given until December 22, 1980 to have
the work ready and a final inspection requested. After that date, we will
assume that you have either not commenced or have suspended the work, at
which time your permit will be void.' Upon expiration of the original per-
mit, a new permit may be obtained for the same work at the rate of one-half
of the current permit fee provided no changes are noted and the abandonment
period has not exceeded one year.
