We approve the floor at the upper level for a live load of 75 p.s.f. at the
maximum span condition. This letter shall not be construed to be approval for
the exterior concrete deck at the upper level.
As we understand the deck area will not be added until the kitchen addition is
added. At that time structural modifications as may be required will be made
if the deck is to be added. Additionally, it is our understanding that the main
floor level has previously been okayed with past remodeling and this letter shall
not serve as approval for the main floor for structural requirements.
It is hoped that these calculations will serve to answer the questions of loading
and that with its submittal and approval will allow the remodeling of the interior
of the restaurant to take place. Thank you, Bill, for taking the time to speak
with me about this matter and to review this letter. Please call if you have any
questions.
