Gentlemen:
We have observed the drilling of several of the ten (10)__inch
diameter, straight shaft piers supporting the residence under
construction at Lot 2, Clarendon Third Filing 913 Langda-le�
Court), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. his I specta-or
was performed on November 25, 1991.
Exposed soils consist of sandy clay over a siltstone/claystone
bedrock, which extends to the depths drilled, approximately eight
(8) feet.
All piers observed were plumb, properly cleaned, and of adequate
length as specified on our foundation plan, Job No. 1110-06-07-01.
Although casing was not required, we recommend that concrete be
placed immediately after drilling of the caissons.
