Description/Location
Structural steel fit -up, attachment and welding was inspected. The results are as
follows:
- One column base plate which supports the W18x50 at the southwest side of
the building had one anchor bolt nut not installed because of stripped
threads. A plate washer was added and welded to the base plate, the
anchor bolt was then welded to the plate washer.
- Screws were missing at the roof deck side laps at midspan as outlined in the
specifications section 6.6B. These were later added and found acceptable.
- The canopy at the south side of the building was not completed as well as
the bar cabinet support, thus inspection was not made at these areas only.
All other areas inspected were found acceptable. Don Tippin of Bevans Enterprises
was informed of the above.
