RE: Caisson Inspection, Lot 18, Block 8, Willow Park Subdivision, Ft. Collins,

Gentlemen:
We inspected piers drilled at the subject site on October 24, 1991. The piers observed were
bottomed in materials suitable to support design pressures as recommended in the soils report by
CTL Thompson, Inc., Project No. 9807 dated February, 1984. The soils exposed in the
excavation and the type of foundation under construction are consistent with the
recommendations presented in the soils report. The water was encountered in a few of the
caissons a't approximately 10' below basement grade. Concrete was poured immediately into the
caissons to seal off and stop water infiltration. All observed caissons meet the minimum
penetration requirement as per foundation plan.
