City Park Nine Clubhouse and Maintenance Building Project No. 8719 Dear Debra: RECEIVED JUN 9 1991 This letter will serve to document our conversation of Play 28, 1987, when we discussed the number of toilet fixtures required for the Clubhouse. It was agreed that the total fixture count required would be as set forth in the 1985 Uniform Plumbing Code for a restaurant/pub classification, even though this would be a reduction in the number of fixtures which presently exist. This reduction will allow a much more cost-efficient conversion of these restrooms for handicapped accessibility. The requirements are as follows: Men: 1 water closet up to 50 men 1 urinal up to 150 men 1 lavatory up to 150 men Warren: 1 water closet up to 50 women - 1 lavatory up to 150 women I have calculated the building's occupant load in the following way: Meeting Room: 64 persons (1/15 sq. ft.) Private Meeting Room: 10 persons (1/15 sq. ft.) Pro Shop: 12 persons (1/50 sq. ft - retail use) Office: 2 persons (1/100 sq. ft.) Repair Shop: 3 persons (1/100 sq. ft.) Restrooms: N/A - accessory use Concessions Kitchen: 1 person (1/200 sq. ft.) Mechanical Equipment Room: 1 person (1/300 sq. ft.) Total: 93 persons; assume 47 men and 46 women ro Ms. Debra Kaestner May 29, 1987 Page 2 Therefore, we can provide 1 water closet in each of the men's and Women's restrooms, a reduction from the present 2 each. Thank you for your assistance with this matter. OVW-6 Cultural, Library and Recreational Services Park Planning & Development Division City of Fort Collins MEMORANDUM DT: October 26, 1992 TO: Felix Lee, Administrator of Building Permits and Inspections FR: Craig Foreman, Civil Engineer 1. RE: City Park Nine Restroom,SBuilding_Permit_#921507-3 This memorandum serves to document our discussions about the drinking fountain at the new restroom. The restroom is the free standing building located near the Number 5 tee box at the golf course. There are no sidewalks to this restroom. The builder set the drinking fountain at regular height (36") from the finished floor, rather than 33", handicap height. I visited the site with Jim Reigles, Commission on Disability Chairperson, on Friday, October 23. Jim is in agreement that the drinking fountain does not need to be lowered for handicap access. He indicated to lower the drinking fountain may actually be a greater problem for senior golfers to reach. We will lower the drinking fountain in the future should anyone request the fountain be set at handicap height. Present use at the course'. indicated the existing height will not cause a problem for golfers. Please let me know if any additional information or documentation is required on this issue. /J cc: Jerry Brown Jim Reigles Dave Sadler 281 North College Avenue • Fort Collins, CO 80524 • (303) 221-6360 CITY OF FORT COLLINS PARKS & RECREATION April 2, 1986 Mr. Carl Glaser 215 Jefferson Street Fort Collins, CO 80524 Re City Park Nine Clubhouse Roof Structure Dear Carl: I have reviewed your letter of March 28 regarding the roof structure.
