Scope of Wock
! We propose to install the complete 50-mil, mechanically -attached Duro-Last single -ply roofing
system using white colored membrane according to the manufacturer's requirements, local
codes, and the following details:
I. The existing roof will be completely removed down to the deck and disposed of properly.
2. Some interior clean up may be required. This is not included in the proposal.
3. The substrate will be overlaid with 11/2" ridged insulation to create a sound surface for the
installation of the new membrane. This will provide an R-Value of 9.0.
4. 1/4" DensDeck will be installed directly under the roofing membrane, providing increased
hail protection and a Class Afire rating.
5. 1/2" per foot sloped crickets will be installed as deemed necessary to facilitate proper
drainage.
fi. A new metal scupper will be fabricated and installed.
7. On the north and south walls, the membrane will terminate a nominal 12" - 18" above the
roof deck.
8. The new membrane will run up and over east and west the parapet walls and will be
terminated on the outside edge with fascia bar and cover.
9. All rooftop curbs and penetrations will be completed with custom prefabricated flashings.
10. Walkway pads will be installed at the hatches.
11. Moisture relief vents will be installed about every 1,000 SF to effectively allow the roof to
breathe.
12. All welds will be checked for integrity and the roof and surrounding area will be cleaned of
all roofing debris.
13. All work will be performed in a courteous and professional manner.
14. All work performed will be done in accordance with required safety guidelines.
15. HVAC and electrical work, if any, to be done by others.
Repair Scone of Work:
1. Canopy: Repair various holes and scrapes to TPO roof and two lines 33' long by cleaning areas
and heat welding TPO patches to seal.
2. Office Area: Repair holes and cracks at seam plates by cleaning areas and heat welding TPO
patches to seal.
3. On vent pipe, seal storm collar with Vulkem.
4. Install missing hose clamp on pipe boot.
S. Duro-Last roof east of office roof: In area approx. 11' x 27', thoroughly pressure -wash the
roof and prepare the surface according to the manufacturer's requirements.
6. Apply clear primer to the prepared area, including any applicable walls and curbs. This will
dramatically increase adhesion of the FFR K-1 system.
7. The premium white reflex FFR K-1 restoration system will be installed to the entire section at
a finished product nominal thickness of 32 mils.

accept that specific option. Any options not initialed for acceptance will be considered as a
rejection of that specific option. These options will adjust the Proposal Amount accordingly.
