RE:. Alteration of the 24 x 60 modular building
The 24 x 60 Modspace modular building was designed for placement with interior ridge beam columns
located at 1 l'-5" and 29' 4" from the front or hitch end of the building. Reviewing the plans and pictured
supplied to me, the center ridge beam column support has been removed.
The existing ridge beam will span 31'. To retain the structural integrity of the roof framing and ridge
beam, install 2 — 4 x 4 columns ( one on each module) in the wall at the kitchen area. Secure the new 4 x 4
columns to the floor and the ridge beams with Simpson or equal post and base brackets.
