Peil Peil Custom Construction Co. 1931 Ridgewood Rd. Fort Collins, CO 80526 October 19, 1988 RE: Wyman Complaint, 626 1/2 S. Grant St. Dear Mr. Peil: On October 11, 1988, I received a written complaint from Pamela and Jack Wyman regarding work allegedly performed by your company in August, 1985 at the above address. The Wymans contacted our office to inspect the construction adjacent to the furnace and water heater after a Public Service Co. representative issued a hazardous warning tag for the mechanical room enclosure on August 17, 1988. Subsequently, they were informed -that the work was performed without a permit and was not in compliance with City codes as noted in our correction notice to them dated August 25, 1988. Section 15-158(d) of the City Code requires the Building Review Board be convened in order to determine the validity of the allegation that the work was performed by your company without first obtaining a permit. You are hereby notified that the Board will consider the matter at 9:30 AM on October 27, 1988, in the City Council Chambers, 300 Laporte Ave. The Board is empowered to take action it deems appropriate including the suspension or revocation of your license. You or your representative are encouraged to appear and to offer any mitigating factors on your behalf. Also, you are advised that you have the right to appeal the Board's decision to City Council with sufficient grounds within 14 days, filed with the City Clerk in writing. Copies of the Wyman complaint, work invoice, and correction notice are enclosed for your information.
