On September 24 and 29, 1998, Terracon observed the foundation construction for the referenced
project.
Observations made during the foundation construction indicate that the foundation footings sizes
and void form and foundation wall steel placements are in accordance with the pl nd

Gentlemen:
Terracon observed the perimeter drain at the referenced site on October 6, 1998. Four inch
diameter, perforated PVC pipe was observed around the exterior perimeter of the basement
foundation. The drainage pipe exhibited positive drainage toward the sumps in the northwest and
southeast corners of the basement. Maximum 1'/2-inch washed aggregate was observed above
the pipe. Layers of filter fabric were observed beneath the pipe and above the gravel.
In addition, the void forms were observed to be in good condition at the time of our site visit.
