We have observed the drilling of several, of the (ten) 10 inch
diameter, straight shaft piers supporting the residence under
construction at Lot 49, Clarendon Hills First (823 Hi.11dale), a
subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. This inspection was
performed on November 21, 1991.
Exposed soils consist of five (5) feet of claystone, over a sandy
claystone bedrock, which extends to the depths drilled,
approximately fifteen (15) feet.

length as specified on our foundation plan, Job No. 1204-04-01-02.
No water was encountered during drilling. Although casing was not
required, re reommend that concrete be placed immediately after
drilling of each individual caisson.
